Introducing Circle Dock

Welcome to this unofficial edition of Circle Dock. Why "unofficial"? Well, Eric Wong is the original author of this program but he has not maintained it or released an update since October 2008. Eric's last release was known as "Alpha 8" and its source code is used as the basis for all subsequent unofficial releases.

Since becoming involved in the development, support and maintenance of Circle Dock, I, "Markham", have included a number of new features and fixed some old bugs. I've been helped in this endeavour by "DrWicked" whose contributions include the enhanced drag-and-drop facilities and the new Toggle Button - which can optionally appear on the desktop when Circle Dock is hidden and primarily designed for use in touch-screen environments.

You can read about all the changes, enhancements and fixes we have included on the History Page of this document.

You can also read about the various enhancements that have either been requested by users, or planned by the Developers. If you have a suggestion for an improvement to Circle Dock, do let us know!

Circle Dock is made available "as-is" and there are no warranties expressed or implied as to its fitness for any purpose or its stability. Please read the Warranty and Limitations of Liability sections of the License.
